The Patient Care Technician program is our most popular program. It is a 16 weeks program, designed to train students in all of the relevant aspects of patient care, including personal care, physical comfort, diagnostic testing specifically electrocardiography, phlebotomy, home health care needs, providing post-operative care, geriatric care, and other critical functions.
As a patient care technician (PCT), you will have daily hands-on experiences with patients by helping them with procedures such as taking vital signs, performing electrocardiography (ECG), blood draws, and other needs.
You’ll work in settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, doctors office, facilities and home health care agencies.
